Kira is a Usui/Tibetan Reiki Master and a Registered Nurse. She received master attunements in both the Usui and Tibetan systems of Reiki from The International Center for Reiki Training. Kira is a graduate of Community College of Rhode Island and Salve Regina University. She earned a Bachelor of Science degree in nursing while at Salve Regina and has completed graduate studies through The University of Rhode Island. Kira is currently studying Craniosacral Therapy and Somatoemotional Release through The Upledger Institute. She has 22 years of critical care, emergency nursing experience. Kira has a passion for complementary and energy medicine that was born from the realization through her professional experience and personal journey. She believes that though traditional western medicine is vital to our healthcare, it is incomplete in achieving total self-health. She states, "Through the integration of complementary modalities, I have the ability to assist clients in channeling and utilizing the innate wisdom and ability that comes from within their body, mind and spirit to support and facilitate the release of pain and tension. In this way, I can assist clients in achieving balance and a more complete state of health."
