»   Intro Vinyasa Power Yoga All Levels
If you are new to yoga, this is the class to begin in. A slow-paced class with basic foundational pose sequencing, clear explanation and demonstration of yoga posture form, alignment and breath exercise. This class will assist you in developing skills for an ongoing, safe and effective yoga practice. An excellent introduction for students rehabilitating from past injuries or with limited exercise experience. This class is inspired by the teachings of Baron Baptiste.
 
This class is suitable for all levels. The yoga room is moderately heated.

»   Vinyasa Power Yoga Beginner/All Levels
A beginners yoga class, committed to your success of foundational alignment, safe movement, and breath in yoga. The class begins with sun salutations, which warm and energize your body and clear your mind. The class progresses into the standing series, backbends, abdominal series and hip openers. A complete yoga class which leaves you invigorated, relaxed, and energized. This class is inspired by the teachings of Baron Baptiste. It is recommended that you take 15-20 beginner classes before moving on to an All Levels Class.
 
Options are shown to modify poses to suit all levels. The yoga room is heated.

Get up and go with this invigorating class. Intense pose sequencing and deep breathing ignites and excites the body. Sweat, connect to your core, explore deep holding of postures, and inversions. Learn to work on the edge of your physical and emotional reactivity to sensation in your body. This is a vigorous yoga practice inspired by the teachings of Ana Forrest.
 
Options are provided for the beginning and advanced student. The yoga room is heated to support and encourage deep release from inside and out.

»   Yin Yoga
Yin Yoga is a relaxed practice of floor postures held for 3-5 minutes. Based on the teachings of Paul Grilley and Sarah Powers, yin yoga focuses on the connective tissue release rather than muscular release and the balancing of the energy or chi to all organs of the body. Passive holds with long slow breath pattern creates an environment and atmosphere of pure and deep spacious relaxation. Yin is an excellent complement to a yang or power yoga practice.

There are times when it is appropriate for a student of yoga to consider private instruction. Such times include when a student may need:
 
- Individual attention with a certified instructor
- An opportunity to explore beginner or advanced postures
- Explore mental reactivity with breath awareness and technique
- Basic yoga philosophy and background
- Working with muscular imbalance to improve peak performance
- Specific modfications of yoga postures
- Rehabilitating from an injury and looking to improve
  strength, flexibility, and endurance

»   Semi Private Yoga Instruction
A small group of students, lots of individual attention with a specific focus and class theme. This is a great way to explore beginner or advanced postures with assistance. In this class you will utilize weight training and work with physioballs. Semi private groups are scheduled monthly requiring a four week financial commitment. Semiprivate classes are currently offered on an on going basis in our North Kingstown Studio. »   Raffa Yoga Ropes
Raffa Yoga Ropes is designed to assist students with awareness of their postural alignment. Specific instruction as to the application, technique and aid of the ropes is provided in each class. Classes are designed with a theme around a specific area of the body (for example, shoulder opening). This class is recommended for students looking for more individual attention, precision in alignment, and a deeper understanding of poses and body conditioning.

This class adapts traditional yoga postures to the needs of each individual. Designed for tudents who have health or physical limitations including Multiple Sclerosis, Arthritis, Parkinson's, Osteoporosis and more. This class offers a balanced approach to strength and flexibility through breath work, gentle movement and deep relaxation. This class is held in a non-heated room and is wheelchair accessible. Ideal for students with all levels of ability and disability.
Class is 45 minutes.
